What if your sister went missing and nobody noticed? I'm talking about her being completely erased from the family. Wiped clean from everyone's memories! Only you do remember her and now only you can save her and the rest of the children who have been taken away. This is what happens to Levi's sister. This book is written in a format similar to Diary of Wimpy Kid and feels like Goosebumps. However, I found it much more spooky and realistic. I read it in a day!! Oh, and it has a character named Ms. Padilla!

This is a Blue Bonnet nominee this year which is what drew me to it. That and the absolutely amazing cover. I know, don't judge a book by it's cover and all that, but this book is better than it's cover. It is about two sisters in two different centuries. The little sisters are having a hard time with their older sisters. In the past, the one sister disappears. Who took her? How did she die? Was it an illness or something more sinister? In modern times, XXXXX finds a book in the library that tells the sister's story. Only one problem...the book isn't finished. How does she find out what really happened? How does the story end? Will the same thing happen to her and her sister? So many questions!!! I was hooked and couldn't put the book down until I knew all the answers.

This is a very sweet book about Oliver the tortoise who
has been with his human for 80 years. They both
enjoy the same things. They are the best of
friends. But one day, his friend stops
visiting him. Oliver travels to visit his
137 year old Mother for answers. He
learns about life, friendship and loss
in a funny and touching way. Not to
heavy for the littles but still interesting
for the older kids.
